International Journal of Belarusian Glottodidactics

The journal was established in 2017 at the Belarusian-Ruthenian Glottodidactics Research Group of the Department of Belarusian and Ruthenian Studies at the University of Warsaw. It promotes the learning and teaching of the Belarusian language, literature, history and culture in Poland and around the world. It is the only journal of its kind supporting glottodidactic research in this field, given the difficult situation facing the Belarusian language in Belarus itself. The journal is published mainly in Belarusian, but also features articles in English and Polish. It discusses issues relating to education, teaching methodology, the specific sociolinguistic situation of the Belarusian language, and the phenomenon of interest in it beyond the borders of Belarus. The journal’s editorial board comprises academics from various academic institutions in Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the USA.
