Numer 111 „Studia Iuridica” obejmuje szerokie spektrum zagadnień współczesnego prawa, łącząc problematykę prawa prywatnego, publicznego i międzynarodowego. W obszarze prawa prywatnego uwagę poświęcono m.in. problematyce własności, mediacji i alternatywnych metod rozwiązywania sporów, w tym roli sądu i prawników w procesie mediacyjnym.

Issue No. 111 of 'Studia Iuridica' covers a broad spectrum of contemporary legal issues, combining topics from private, public, and international law. In the area of private law, attention is devoted, among other things, to issues of property, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution methods, including the role of courts and lawyers in the mediation process. In the field of public law, this issue addresses topics related to environmental protection and the legal status of pharmaceutical waste under European Union law, as well as issues in criminal law, including the evolution of regulations concerning the death penalty. A significant portion of the issue is also devoted to topics at the intersection of law, history, and collective memory, covering the legal aspects of commemorating genocide, its denial, and the role of law in reconciliation and peacebuilding processes. A separate section is devoted to issues of medical law and new technologies, particularly the use of artificial intelligence in medical diagnostics, patient consent, the protection of patient autonomy, and liability related to the use of algorithmic systems. The published articles thus highlight the diversity of contemporary legal challenges, encompassing both traditional institutions of private and public law and new issues arising from technological development, social change, and the processes of European and international integration.
Keywords: divided ownership, genocide, memory law, EU law, pharmaceutical waste, mediation, ADR, death penalty, artificial intelligence in medicine
