The Nation in Social and Human Sciences in the Digital Era: Tools for Reconceptualization

In the face of rapid changes in modern societies, human and social sciences have to adapt to the new conditions resulting from the growing role of technology in our everyday life. The question “how to define nation” becomes fundamental. The authors of the publication – the second volume of the Pluralités Européennes series – attempt to answer it, analysing, among others, the dynamics of internet populism, new forms of civic engagement, philosophical challenges facing “digital society”, or social dynamics associated with the formation of the image of homo numericus.
