Intercultural Studies
Edited by Magdalena Latkowska
The aim of the series is to disseminate academic works from various fields of the humanities (literary studies, cultural studies, history, art history, political science, international relations, linguistics, translation studies, language teaching, etc.) in an intercultural context. Interculturality is understood here as a broadly defined dialogue between literatures, cultures and languages.
The series is addressed to scholars and experts, as well as anyone interested in the issues it covers. Among the published and planned volumes, readers will find monographs, anthologies and materials from academic or expert conferences.
- The author presents the mechanisms of shaping the cultural identity of the Kurpies – a community inhabiting the forested area of north-eastern Mazovia since the second half of the 17th century. The key research category was family and collective memory
