Embodied in motion: Polish female professional runners in anthropological perspective
An anthropological look at physicality in women’s professional running from the point of view of authoethnography, anthropology of the body and anthropology of sport. The Author adopts two complementary perspectives: an internal one, that is, a registration of the experience of running through the senses, as well as an external one, which is an attempt at showing how female runners are subjected to discipline and at the same time how the female agency is construed in professional running.
