The Learner's Thematic Dictionary of Russian-Polish Lexical Parallels

Dictionary is an innovative thematic dictionary containing culinary vocabulary and describing full, partial, and false lexical parallels of the Russian and the Polish language, i.e. words that are similar visually/phonetically, with full or partial correspondence of meanings or with completely different meanings. The dictionary has a didactic character and is addressed primarily to people learning Russian and Polish at various levels. The thematic arrangement of entries and the set of example exercises make it easier to work with a teacher or individually.

Dr Michał Kozdra – russian linguist, researcher at the University of Warsaw, academic teacher and Russian language trainer. He conducts research in the field of lexicography, didactics of teaching the Russian language, multimodal communication and discourse analysis.

Dr hab. Volodymyr Dubichynskyi – research and didactic worker at the University of Warsaw, head of the Lexicographic Laboratory of the Department of Russian Studies of the University of Warsaw. Specializes in Russian lexicography, cultural linguistics, and general and comparative linguistics.
