The first issue opens with an introduction by prof. dr hab. Jan Kieniewicz, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Yearbook, who describes the origins of the journal and its aims. The studies section contains four articles treating the history of Spain and Portugal from the modern era to the 19th century.
The following section presents the dossier of the 1st Polish-Spanish Meetings, an international academic conference on Poland and Spain in Europe in the 19th century, organised by the 'Artes Liberales' Faculty of the University of Warsaw and the Spanish Embassy in Poland since 2018. The documents, sources and memoirs section presents an edition of the letters of Spanish writer and poet Sofía Casanova, held in the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw, and the memoirs of an official from the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture on a visit to Poland in 1978.
