How the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw Was Created
The articles collected in this publication describe selected threads from the history of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw, mention its lecturers and employees and characterise the old scientific equipment preserved in its museum. The author discusses the beginnings of teaching chemistry in Warsaw and the development of the Faculty in the 20th century. She also introduces the figures of famous chemists: professors Kazimierz Jabłczyński and Wiktor Kemula, using previously unpublished memoirs and interviews.
