Przegląd Historyczny, CXVI 2025, Issue 2, From the history of the Polish Historical Society
Almost from the very beginning of its existence, "Przegląd Historyczny" was associated with the Polish Historical Society. Letters from Marceli Handelsman to Stanisław Zakrzewski from 1919–1936, published by Joanna Pisulińska, show the relations between Lviv and Warsaw as the main centres of the Polish Historical Society (PTH), as well as the PTH's foreign contacts in the interwar period. Other articles in this issue concern Polish medieval historiography, the abolition of some church holidays during the reign of Stanisław August Poniatowski, the audiosphere of Napoleonic battles, the history of the Communist Party of Poland in 1926–1937, and women activists in "Solidarity".
