Works. Volume 4. Philosophy, Dialectics, Reality

Filozofia, dialektyka, rzeczywistość [Philosophy, Dialectics, Reality] published for the first time in 1982 by Państwowy Instytut Wydawniczy is a presentation of Marek J. Siemek’s philosophical project from the 1970s. The book consists of ten independent articles devoted to important issues of the 20th-century philosophy. Siemek assumes the role of a guide and recreates the comprehensive horizon of contemporary thought struggling with its own past. By means of the conceptual tools of hermeneutics, structuralism, Marxism and Hegel, he outlines his approach, which he defined then as the historical ontology of sense.

Keywords: philosophy, dialectics, reality, historical ontology of sense, hermeneutics, structuralism, Marxism, the 20th-century philosophy, contemporary philosophy.
