Across the Glass Threshold. Integration and Socio-Economic Mobility of Ukrainian Migrants Intermarrying with Polish Citizens
The author describes the circumstances surrounding intermarriages, the adaptive strategies devised by Ukrainian migrants in Warsaw metropolitan area and the interdependencies between their spatial and socio-economic mobility. She also presents the issues related to the functioning of mixed marriages in Poland in a broad context, joining in a discussion about tolerance, reducing socio-cultural, ethnic and racial distances as well as the emergence of new differences and identities.
