The Polish School System after 1989. Democratization, Centralization and Commercialization
The problem of changes occurring in Polish schools has not lost its relevance for many years, without approaching even a partial research saturation. In our educational reality, a reform “chases” another reform, amendments are accepted at a fast pace and it can hardly be expected to be otherwise in the foreseeable future. The analyses contained in this book – devoted to the presentation of changes that took place in the Polish school over the last thirty years – were subordinated to the ideas, which, in the author’s opinion, have often been the basis for constructing and reconstructing system solutions, i.e. democratization, centralization and commercialization.
Keywords: Polish school system, changes, democratization, centralization, commercialization.
