Exile – Migrations – Diaspora
The volume contains texts resulting from the international seminar organised by the Polish- Siberian Research Group. They are the outcome of the cooperation between the academic community and actively involved representatives of indigenous Siberian peoples, who now live outside Siberia (in European Union countries, the United States, the United Kingdom and Mongolia). The book allows the understanding of the challenges faced by indigenous communities in Siberia. Also, it brings closer the discussion on developing precise terms and methods of conducting field research in Siberia when the Russian Federation is politically isolated.
The publication is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Poland license (CC BY 3.0 PL) (full license available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/legalcode).
Keywords: diaspora, exile, migration, Siberia, Sakha (Yakutia), Buryatia, Tyva (Tuva).
