This issue of ‘Anglica’ magazine (34/2/25) addresses topics related to accessibility and inclusivity for deaf, hard of hearing and blind people. The articles focus on subtitles and their translations in films and digital games intended for audiences at various stages of psychological development – from early school education to adulthood. Solutions related to accessibility through touch in art galleries (sculpture) and museums (e.g. Pearl Harbour National Memorial) are also presented, both from a theoretical perspective, in a dialogue between linguistics and art history, and from a practical perspective, in the pursuit of language simplification.
