Violence Against Women: An Interdisciplinary Perspective
The book originated from the need to break the silence surrounding the phenomenon of violence against women, both in public discourse and within academia. The authors treat writing as a form of resistance against the normalization of violence and academic indifference, combining feminist, media, migration, legal, cultural, and social perspectives. The publication demonstrates that violence against women is not a collection of isolated incidents but the result of systemic neglect and entrenched patriarchal structures. The book is both a “cry” of protest against silence and a call for social responsibility.
Keywords: violence against women, feminism, silence, resistance, patriarchy.
