Laboratory testing of land and soil

A presentation of laboratory studies conducted in broadly understood engineering geology. Research in engineering geology is concerned with the physical, mechanical and physico-chemical properties of soils and the assessment of their changeability depending on the mineral, chemical composition, structure and texture as well as the chemistry of pore water and air. The new edition has been expanded to include further elements of the soil classification proposed by the European Commission for Standardization (CEN).
