The Different Aspects of Senescence. Neuropsychological Studies
The book presents contemporary theoretical research trends in neurogeriatic psychiatry, which encompasses neurobiological issues of human ageing and their consequences in psychical, social and civilization aspects. It analyses the relationship between the state of brain, the level of cognitive functions, measured in neuropsychological samples and the structure of utterance according to the discursive model. The research is one of the first conducted in Poland which examine the cognitive functioning and communication of the elderly in their eighties and nineties.
