Cloud Computing Outsourcing in Polish Insurance Institutions
The monograph is the first attempt on the Polish book market at a comprehensive overview of cloud computing outsourcing in insurance institutions.
The book thoroughly explores the relevant provisions of the Act on insurance and reinsurance activity, of particular importance after the implementation of the Solvency II Directive, and the stances adopted by the Polish and European supervisory authorities. The author also discusses the aspects of processing personal data as well as the data subject to insurance secrecy. This served as the basis for an assessment of the admissibility, the conditions for use and the efficiency of the cloud computing outsourcing standards in Polish insurance institutions.
The publication is intended for the researchers in the insurance, law and finance fields, as well as the insurance market practitioners, especially insurance institutions and entities that offer outsourcing services to insurers.
Keywords: insurance, regulated outsourcing, cloud computing, Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
