The memoir of Władysław Zahorski (1859–1927) – physician, social activist, cofounder and president of Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Nauk w Wilnie (Society of Friends of Science in Wilno). The second volume covers the period of his studies at the University of Moscow, as well as his professional work in the heart of Russia, where Zahorski engaged with the representatives of all social classes and different ethnic groups.
