Health protection and economy. Review of contemporary problems of the health care system
The monograph touches on issues related to management in health care in the broadest sense. This is another scientific publication that is the aftermath of a series of conferences under the title OCHRONA ZDROWIA I GOSPODARKA. This book addresses the consequences of socially undesirable behaviors and phenomena for the health care system and the economy, the position of the patient in the health care system, the problems of management of health care facilities or external determinants of the impact on public health and the health care system.
The monograph is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Kazimierz Ryć, an outstanding economist, scientist, one of the initiators of the establishment of the Center for Health Care Management at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, and the scientific editor of all the monographs in the series published so far.
