The Forgotten Link of Polish Phenomenological Aesthetics. The Works of Ada Werner-Silberstein in the Context of Literary Studies in the First Three Decades of the 20th Century

The book is devoted to the works of Ada Werner-Silberstein. Her activities were scientific and social in nature, largely concerning the emancipation of women. Both fields of activity were treated as interrelated and complementary. In the subsequent chapters, the author attempts to reconstruct the interpretation of Silberstein's position presented in The Introduction to Modern Aesthetic (1911), the only monograph written by the researcher in Polish, and, at the same time, the first Polish-language attempt to approach aesthetic issues in the light of early phenomenological thought of Edmund Husserl.

Keywords: Ada Werner-Silberstein, phenomenology, aesthetics, feminism, agnotology.
