Towards embodied sociology
In a way, this book settles accounts with the dominant theoretical trends in sociology, resulting from the established ontology and epistemology of social conditions, the cognitive consequences of which determined the shape of this discipline from the beginnings of its existence up to recent years. The author presents paths of development of the humanities and the seven deadly sins of academic sociology, pointing to the philosophical context of inspiration, confronting “pure” cognition with the corporeal and material experience of the world.
