Lectures on the Humanity of God
The publication contains the jottings from public lectures on the history of religion, which were delivered by “the first professional” Russian philosopher, known as “Russian Plato”. He effectively synthesised opposing 19thcentury traditions of Russian social thought, connecting them to all significant European philosophical doctrines. Sołowjow demonstrated the history of humankind as a process of God’s self-fulfilment.
