A book devoted to the rebirth of myths in the general literature of the 20th and 21st centuries. By analyzing the most interesting reinterpretations of the most famous myths, the authors look for answers to the questions: why mythical stories still inspire writers, how myths function in literary works, and wheter contemporary literature, questioning the traditional message of mythical stories, is really a space of myth palingenesis.
