The book presents the results of the international research called the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study. The research covered: systems of school civic education, civic knowledge and civic attitudes of 14-year-olds. The issue of the publication concerns the first two issues. The author presents and analyzes the results of the study of civic knowledge of Polish middle school students against the background of their peers from 37 countries around the world.
