On the development of foreign language didactics as a scientific discipline
The book contains an original concept of foreign language didactics, being science: relatively autonomous, i.e. defining its subject of research according to its own priorities; empirical, or reaching the real processes of using language in verbal communication; and, above all, humanistic, focusing on a student as a subject of the processes of language use and learning.
Keywords: foreign languages, teaching of foreign languages, didactics of foreign languages.
