This issue discusses such relevant and topical issues as research on the impact of interdisciplinary weight loss interventions on the mental health of people with obesity, NGO best practices in the field of IT support for women and girls (the cases of Armenia and Poland), and autonomy and participation of people with long-term physical disabilities. In addition, the issue contains papers on the revalidation of students with Asperger's syndrome, the challenges of motherhood in the context of a child's intellectual disability, the impact of the physical environment on the development of pre-school children, as well as an analysis of lexical transference in Polish language teaching in a cross-cultural context. The issue concludes with a review on state policy towards young children.
