Artificial Intelligence in IT Management Systems in a Process Environment
Modern management information systems, together with business processes, play a key role in the functioning of organisations, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. This monograph explores the issue of integrating artificial intelligence with selected types of management information systems, with particular emphasis on Business Process Management as an environment conducive to the implementation of artificial intelligence as a tool supporting the control, analysis and optimisation of business processes. It presents, among other things, the types of management information systems in which the implementation of AI brings the greatest benefits, with particular emphasis on Business Process Management as an environment in which artificial intelligence can be effectively embedded as a control and analytical component.
