Agnieszka Naumiuk – doctor habilitatus in humanities, associate professor at the Integration, Inclusion and Social Education Unit at the Faculty of Education of the University of Warsaw. Her interests include: the educational role of social organisations, citizen participation in educational processes, the role of social activists in social changes, social integration and inclusion, the connections between education and social work. She is the author of numerous articles and the following books: Edukacyjna rola organizacji pozarządowych – przykład ruchu United Way [The Educational Role of Non-governmental Organisations on the Example of the United Way Movement] (Orthos 2003), Uczestnictwo społeczne młodzieży [Youth Social Participation] (Akapit 2007), Edukacja – partycypacja – zmiana w doświadczeniach i wyobrażeniach działaczy lokalnych (animatorów społecznych) [Education – Participation – Change in the Experiences and Notions of Local Social Activists] (WUW 2014).
