A notebook dedicated to Leon Petrażycki, a precursor of many original ideas and a brave science reformer, whose work has inspired subsequent generations of readers. Contains among others translation of Petrażycki's answer to the criticism of Professor Vasily Ivanovich Sergeyevich regarding two works of a Polish scholar: Introduction to the study of law and morality. Fundamentals of emotional psychology (1905) and Theory of law and state in relation to the theory of morality (1907). The authors present the most important theories and achievements of the thinker in the field of: deontic logic, multiple causes of social and legal phenomena, principles of adequacy, the essence of moral norms, legal pluralism, primacy of legal norms over other types of norms, scientific law policy and sociology of law.
