Autorzy pokazują, że szkoła stanowi zestaw praktyk kulturowych, jest swoistą historycznie i kulturowo formą bycia w świecie, która przekracza to, co zawarte w programach nauczania oraz w instytucjonalnych formach ich realizacji.
