Stanisław D. Głazek – profesor w Instytucie Fizyki Teoretycznej na Wydziale Fizyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i autor blisko 100 oryginalnych artykułów, głównie na temat teorii oddziaływań cząstek elementarnych. Wspólnie z Kennethem G. Wilsonem, laureatem nagrody Nobla z fizyki z 1982 roku, sformułował metodę renormalizacji hamiltonianów w kwantowej teorii pola. Przez wiele lat pracował na uniwersytetach w Niemczech i w USA, był stypendystą Polsko-Amerykańskiej Komisji Fulbrighta i MacArthur Foundation. Autor artykułów na temat edukacji i razem z Seymorem B. Sarasonem współautor książki Productive Learning: Science, Art and Einstein’s Relativity in Educational Reform.

Stanisław D. Głazek – is a professor in the Institute of Theoretical Physics in the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw and an author of close to a 100 original articles on physics, mainly on the theory of interactions of elementary particles. Together with Kenneth G. Wilson, the Nobel laureate for physics in 1982, he formulated a method for the renormalization of Hamiltonians in quantum field theory. Professor Głazek worked at universities in Germany and the US, received a stipend from the Polish-American Fulbright Commission and from the MacArthur Foundation. He is an author of articles on education and a co-author with Seymour B. Sarason of the book Productive Learning: Science, Art and Einstein’s Relativity in Educational Reform.
