W książce opisano wpływ procesu integracji europejskiej na macedońską tożsamość narodową, związany ze stanowiskiem państw sąsiednich, poprzez przedstawienie złożonych relacji macedońsko-greckich oraz macedońsko-bułgarskich. Omówiono wyniki badań naukowych, prowadzonych przez Autora nad tożsamością narodową Macedończyków w latach 2016–2018. Przedstawiono analizę dokumentów i porozumień międzynarodowych z Grecją i Bułgarią. Scharakteryzowano również szanse i zagrożenia dotyczące procesu integracji europejskiej oraz jego wpływu na tożsamość macedońską z perspektywy przyszłego członkostwa państwa w Unii Europejskiej.

The National Identity of the Macedonians in the Process of European Integration
The book describes the impact of the process of European integration on Macedonian national identity, related to the position of neighbouring countries, by presenting complex Macedonian-Greek and Macedonian-Bulgarian relations. The author described the results of his research on Macedonian national identity conducted from 2016 to 2018. He also presented the analysis of documents and international agreements with Greece and Bulgaria and characterized opportunities and threats regarding the European integration process and its influence on Macedonian identity from the perspective of the future membership of the country in the European Union.
